Your Body Lost Touch With The Earth.

Your body is electrical. The earth is electrical. For most of human life, your skin touched the ground every day. Then we put on rubber shoes, moved indoors, and started sleeping on beds. A Cadian sheet puts that contact back while you sleep.

How Grounding Works.

Three simple facts. What it is. Why it went missing. How a sheet on your bed brings it back.

1

Your Skin Picks Up A Charge From The Room

Wires in the walls put a small electrical charge on your skin. This is normal physics. You can measure it.

2

The Earth Takes That Charge Away

When your skin touches the ground, that extra charge drains off. Bare feet on grass do this. So does a conductive sheet plugged into the earth pin of a wall socket.

3

A Sheet Does This All Night

Cadian is a flat sheet with stainless steel fibre in the cloth. Two elastic straps run the length of the mattress, head to foot. It sits under your own fitted sheet and plugs into the earth pin of a wall outlet. The connection works through a cotton fitted sheet. Eight hours. Every night.

No power goes into you. Extra charge drains out. Test the socket first with a socket tester. You can add one at checkout.

This Part Is Physics.

Connect a body to earth and the voltage on the skin falls. That is not a belief. It is a measurement.

Lower Body Voltage

A conductive bed pad cut the 60 Hz voltage on the body by about 110 times. That is the same kind of surface as a grounding sheet.

What The Studies Found.

Grounding has been tested on sleep, recovery, pain, calm in the nervous system, and the electrical charge on the skin. Each card is a real finding from a real paper.

Longer Measured Sleep

People on a grounding mat slept longer than people on a look-alike mat that was not grounded. Wrist trackers measured it.

Park et al., 2025

Faster To Sleep, Fewer Wakings

After eight weeks of grounded sleep, 11 of 12 people said they fell asleep faster. All 12 said they woke fewer times.

Ghaly & Teplitz, 2004

Better Sleep Scores

People with mild Alzheimer's who sat on a grounding mat scored better on a sleep questionnaire than people on a fake mat.

Lin et al., 2022

Faster Recovery After Hard Exercise

People who slept on a grounded sheet recovered faster after downhill running. A muscle-damage marker in the blood rose less. Jump power dropped less.

Müller et al., 2019

Less Muscle Damage In The Blood

After tough exercise, a muscle-damage marker rose in the fake-plug group and did not rise in the grounded group.

Brown et al., 2015

Less Pain, Smaller Inflammation Rise

After spinal surgery, grounded patients had a bigger drop in pain and a smaller rise in CRP, a blood marker of inflammation.

Sokal et al., 2025

The Stress Signal Drops In Seconds

A stress signal in the skin dropped within seconds of grounding. It happened in all 28 people. It did not happen with a fake plug.

Chevalier, 2010

Body Voltage Falls

A conductive bed pad cut induced body voltage by about 110 times. A patch cut it by about 70 times.

Applewhite, 2005

The Calm Nerve Responds

In premature babies, a calm-nerve measure rose 67% while they were grounded, then returned when the connection came off.

Passi et al., 2017

Red Cells Carry More Charge

After two hours of grounding, the electrical charge on red blood cells rose 2.7 times and the cells clumped less.

Chevalier et al., 2013

Mood Scores Improved

After one hour of grounding, pleasant and positive mood scores went up in the grounded group.

Chevalier, 2015

A Bed Sheet Is The Right Format

The recovery trial used a conductive bed sheet for ten nights of normal sleep. That is this product, not a chair mat for 40 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Your skin picks up a charge from the wires in the room. Touch the earth and that charge drains away. You can measure it with a simple meter. Studies have also measured longer sleep, faster recovery, less pain, and a calmer stress signal in the skin.

Two. The bed-sheet recovery trial at the University of Salzburg, 22 people, fake-plug control, no company money. And the 2025 surgery trial, 84 people, fake-plug control, no outside funding. For sleep, the 2025 mat trial measured longer sleep against a look-alike mat.

Some of the early papers were paid for by grounding companies. Several authors own shares in one. We would rather tell you that than have you find it. The strongest trials, including Salzburg 2019 and Sokal 2025, had no company money. They still found an effect.

Some people notice calmer nights in the first couple of weeks. Some take longer. Some feel nothing. That is why the 100-night sleep trial exists. Customer pays return shipping.

Yes. The sheet has metal fibre in the cloth. Two elastic straps run the length of the mattress, head to foot, one on each side. It sits under your own fitted sheet. The cord goes to the earth pin in the wall, the same earth the socket already uses. The connection works through a cotton fitted sheet. A bed pad of this type cut body voltage by about 110 times.

The sheet uses the earth pin, not the live pin. Test the socket with a socket tester before you plug in. You can add one at checkout. If the outlet is not earthed, use a ground rod fitted by an electrician. If you take blood thinners, thyroid medication or diabetes medication, speak to your doctor first. Cadian is a sheet, not a medical device.
